| Triplecode created three touch-screen kiosks for the exhibition "DOGS: Wolf, Myth, Hero & Friend." The exhibition premiers at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County and then embarks on a national tour. The kiosks make learning about different aspects of dogs a playful experience for younger visitors. The first of these kiosks, "A Little Wolf in Every Dog" is positioned to help visitors better understand its accompanying physical diorama. By zooming in to different areas, the particular scene can be examined in more detail. Popup cards explain, and also compare the behaviors of wolfs and domestic dogs. The interface's stylized 2.5D design is a playful interpretation of the diorama. It also makes the transitions and movements surprisingly dramatic and exciting. |
